After disembarkation in Argostoli your guide or escort will wait for the group to lead you to the bus.
You will be headed to the local Robola Wine Cooperation, where you can enjoy a wine tasting and the chance to buy some local products. Robola is the famous wine of Cephalonia of white color and subtle fruity taste.
The next stop is scheduled at the Agios Gerasimos monastery. The monastery is built on a loamy valley with 40 wells. Saint Gerasimos is the patron saint and protector of Cephalonia. His body is kept in a reliquary at the nunnery. In the church is also the entrance of the cave where he lived, where the visitor can walk around and admire the rich spangle of the church.
We will go on to magnificent Drogaratis Cave, a stalagmite and stalactite cave still creating the past 100 million years. The cave is 95 kilometers long and dwells at 120 meters below the seal level. It has the more expanded main hall comparing to other caves in Greece and is used for some music projects.
Upon completion of the tour, we return to Argostoli for a short city tour and free time till the embarkation on the cruise ship.
