8 days – 7 nights tour to Peloponnese
Enjoy a multi-day tour to Peloponnese and explore the hidden natural beauties and historical points of interest. Get to know the real Greek mainland, crystal beaches and unspoiled sights.

1st day: Olympia- Kalamata
Upon the beginning of Peloponnese tour we depart from your hotel/port/airport and head to Olympia to admire the famous archaeological site and museum as well as enjoy free time for shopping. Continue towards the coastal city of Kalamata and admire on the way the unique landscape (Olympia-Kalamata: 2 hours/ 124 km). You could (optionally) enjoy your lunch in a traditional tavern at the sea side in Kalamata and then settle at the hotel. Afterwards, you will have free time to explore the city which is one of the most vivid in the Peloponnese.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

2nd day:  Kalamata- Kardamili-Diros Caves- Gythio -Monemvasia /193 km
After your breakfast at the hotel, continue your exploration of Messinian Mani and head to the picturesque and unique Kardamili.After this short stop you will continue for Diros Caves ( Kardamili- Diros: 1 hour & 15’/ 54 km).  This is one of the longest subterranean Caves with stalagmites and stalactites in Europe. Upon your arrival at the cavern, follow your guide as you embark a small tour by boat.  Return to your motor coach and depart for Gytheio. ( Diros – Gytheio : 42’/ 36 km). You could (optionally) have lunch in one of the traditional taverns and depart for Monemvasia ( Gythio-Monemvasia: 1 hour & 15’/ 67 km). You will settle in the hotel and have the afternoon free.

3rd day: Monemvasia- Elafonisos-Monemvasia/102 km
After your breakfast depart to the castle of Monemvasia. It’s the site of a powerful fortress with many Byzantine churches remaining from the medieval period. Afterwards, you will continue to Elafonisos Island. You take the ferry to Elafonisos from Pounta port (Monemvasia- Pounta port: 1 ½  hours / 41 km).  It’s a unique island of exotic beauty and you will visit Simos beach with white sand and turquoise waters. (Tour of Elafonisos: 40’ / 20 km). You could take a lunch (optionally) in one of the traditional taverns and have plenty of time to enjoy the sea and the sun before you return to Monemvasia for your dinner and overnight.

4th day: Monemvasia-Mistras-Tolo /215 km
After your breakfast, check out from the hotel and depart for the byzantine state of Mistras (Monemvasia- Mistras: 1 ½ hours / 92 km). Mystras, the ‘wonder of the Morea’, was built as an amphitheater around the fortress erected in 1249 by William of Villehardouin. The guide will revive the history and legend of the state. Thereafter, continue to Tolo, the resort of Argolis region (Mistras- Tolo: 2 hours / 123 km).  You will have (optionally) lunch in a local tavern in Tolo and then settle at the hotel. Enjoy a free afternoon in Tolo, take a swim and relax under the sun.

5th day: Tolo- Porto Cheli- Spetses- Porto Cheli – Tolo /144 km

You will wake up early in the morning , have breakfast and then depart for Porto Cheli to get the ferry to Spetses island ( Tolo- Porto Cheli: 1 ½ hours / 72km).  You will visit Spetses, the island of aromas. You could have lunch (optionally) and then visit the House of Bouboulina a heroine that played a significant role in the War of Independence. Admire the wood-carved Florentine ceiling of the House, the 18th and 19th century furniture, interesting collection of old weapons, fine porcelain and rare books. Alternately, you can have free time to swim at the beach Agia Marina. Return to Tolo in the evening to have dinner and overnight at the hotel.

6th day: Tolo- Epidaurus – Mycenae- Nafplio- Tolo (133km)
After your breakfast you will depart for Epidaurus to admire the most famous ancient theatre of Greece, built at the end of the 4th cen. B.C. (Tolo– Epidaurus: 36’ / 31 km). Thereafter, depart for Mycenae, admire the famous ‘’Gate of Lions’’, ‘’Atreus King Tomb’’ and the “Cyclopean Walls” (Epidaurus- Mycenae: 1 hour/ 47 km). You could have lunch (optionally) in a local tavern and then return to Tolo for some rest. (Mycenae- Tolo: 35’/ 31km). You will have the afternoon free in Tolo, have dinner at the hotel and then head to Nafplio to enjoy the city by night. (Tolo- Nafplio: 20’/12 km). You can admire the Fortress of Bourtzi, the castle of Palamidi, you can stroll through the narrow alleys of the old city.  Return late at night to your hotel in Tolo.

7th day: Tolo-Athens Acropolis /175 km
Take your breakfast at the hotel and get ready to depart for a tour to Athens (Tolo-Athens: 2 hours: 144 km). The bus stops at the foothill of Acropolis and you will ascend up to Acropolis Temple, the most visited in Greece and the most impressive, signifying the Golden Era of Classical Athens. After your guided visit, enjoy a walk through Plaka, the old Agora and have lunch (optionally) to one of the traditional restaurants. You will settle at the hotel later in the afternoon to get some rest. Alternatively yoo could spend the afternoon for shopping and exploring the city. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

8th day: Athens -Isthmos-Loutraki
After your breakfast take the coach to enjoy a city tour through the main monuments located in the city center, Kallimaramaro Stadium, Adrian’s Ark, Temple of Zeus, the Classical Trilogy and Sydagma Square. Afterwards, we head back to Peloponnese with a short stop on our way to Isthmos where we can take some photos and admire the magnificent views to the Corinth Canal. ( Athens- Isthmos: 1 hour / 75 km). The next stop is Loutraki, a coastal resort full of hotels, cafes and restaurants ( Isthmos-Loutraki: 10’-9 km) . You could have lunch (optionally) and coffee and then head back to your hotel/port/airport.
