Our representative will meet you upon your arrival at Katakolon port and you will depart for your excursion without delay. You will be driven through the traditional villages of Agios Ioannis and the vineyards of Ilia prefecture heading to Olympia.
Olympia is the ancient city-state that hosted permanently the Olympic Games during antiquity. As you enter the archaeological site you will walk through the remnants of the classical times and see Temple of Zeus, Temple of Hera and the impressive stadium.
In close proximity to the site is located the museum of Olympia hosting an abundance of ancient statues, objects of domestic use, arms and discoveries from ancient temples.
Thereafter, you will continue your tour with lunch in a selected local tavern serving delicious Greek food. After your meal you will embark your A/C coach to return to Katakolon port full of good memories.
